Start at Riverwalk Restaurant with your choice of a draft beer, glass of red or white wine, or a specialty cocktail. The menu includes a beautiful Seafood Charcuterie of cured salmon, ahi tuna, octopus salami served with French bread, pickled onion, dill cream cheese, and wasabi aioli.
Next up, at Water Street Grille, you will get a choice of a 12-oz draft beer selection, glass of selected red or white wine, or a specialty cocktail offering. Drinks are paired with a tantalizing trio: Mac & Cheese Eggroll, Crispy Fried Oyster, and Flash Fried Zucchini.
Finish the night at Carrot Tree Kitchens Yorktown for a taste of the bakery’s legendary Desserts: Opera Cake, Tiramisu, and a delicious éclair.
Executive Chef Brian Hines
For Riverwalk Restaurant and Water Street Grille’s Executive Chef Brian Hines, the world is quite literally his oyster. Chef Hines manages two waterfront restaurants in Historic Yorktown that are both situated along the beautiful (and bountiful) York River where oysters, scallops, crabs, and rockfish are aplenty. Brian has more than 20 years of culinary experience and creating innovative features for his dishes is his passion. Brian has established relationships with several of our area’s watermen and farmers to incorporate only the freshest, local ingredients into his menus.
Pastry Chef Salima Cherikh
Carrot Tree's Chef Salima Cherikh is from the Béjaïa Province of Algeria, and is a self-taught culinary genius. She believes the secrets to a good dish are balance and color—that the food has to be as delicious for the eyes as it is for the mouth! Salima has been a part of the Carrot Tree family for more than a decade, and tests all her new recipes on the employees. During the Yorktown Tapas Crawl, she will be preparing Opera Cake, Tiramisu, and Fruit Tartlets.
